Voivodeship Labour Office in Gdansk is the key institution implementing and coordinating regional labour market policy on behalf of regional authorities. We initiate and support effective solutions promoting and stimulating development of labour market in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The Voivodeship Labour Office in Gdańsk carries out its own projects co-financed from the EU and national funds.

VLO is experienced in realisation of many partnership projects within various European programmes, including:
  • Equal
  • Leonardo Da Vinci
  • Socrates
  • Interreg
VLO supports the network of county labour offices operating in the Pomorskie Voivodeship in order to increase the quality and effectiveness of the support offered by those. This is achieved, among others, by:
  • training programmes addressed to the key employees of the public employment services (vocational counsellors, placement officers, job club leaders, career development experts, programme experts),
  • research projects to diagnose regional labour market,
  • projects focused on development of instruments and methods of activisation of the unemployed.
